MASJID AN-NABAWI by Safia Malik
Mosque of the Prophet, also known as Masjid An-Nabawi, is located in Madinah, the second holiest site in Islam. It is called the Prophet’s Mosque because it use to be the home for Prophet SAW and it is also the resting place for Prophet Mohammad SAW which makes it an important visiting site for Muslims.

 Prophet Mohammad SAW said, "Do not prepare yourself for a journey except to three Mosques: Masjid al-Haram, the Mosque of Aqsa (Jerusalem) and my Mosque." [Bukhari]
