About the Club:
Art and Heart is a creative space and outlet for those who want to learn new skills, relax and connect with people. Its a place to discover how art can help you to express yourself and discover your emotions and get to know yourself. Its a place where you can get assistance and feedback on your art work. Get your questions answered. You can show and grow your skills, and be around other artists.
We will be working on different projects throughout the year, Each month is dedicated for 1 project. We will have 4 sessions a month. In the first 3 sessions we will try to finish our project. 4th Session will be a catch up session, and where you can bring your own ideas and work on your own project.
EVERY THURSDAY: 9 pm - 10 pm
About me:
My name is Safia Malik. I am an artist and have been passionate about all kinds of art since childhood. I love teaching people different art skills and instilling a passion for art in them. I love to use art as a tool to express myself and a means to de stress and recharge my mind. I will be hosting the art sessions every week via zoom and teaching you how you can use different art mediums and art techniques to express yourself and how you can use your mood, emotions and feelings to create a masterpiece.
About YOU:
You are now an important member of this club who will be sharing your opinions, your experience and expressing your self using the art you will learn. You will get to experiment and work with various mediums so you can discover what medium works best for you. You will be giving your inputs and voting on which project you would like to do next. You can bring your own ideas and work on projects during the 4th session of each month. You will soon be added to the Memebers Whatsapp group where you can dive in and start conversing with like minded people and share your ideas and thoughts.

Materials Checklist for MARCH:
Materials you will need: (you dont need high quality materials to do this session. These items can be purchased from Walmart/Dollar Store/Michaels/ Artstore easily).
A 12x16” Canvas
Acrylic Paints: Black, White, Green, Red, Yellow, Blue (Can be used again in the future)
Brushes: 1 thick flat brush & 1 thin flat brush (Can be used again in the future)
paper plate/a paint palatte (Can be used again in the future)
glass of water
rough cloth or paper towel
a few white printer papers
a pencil
Mod Podge (Gloss varnish) Or White Liquid Glue
a sponge from around the house (for creating background)
